39 North: Cultivating An Innovation Ecosystem

Join us for a discussion about 39 North, the 600-acre innovation district that is home to the Danforth Center, BRDG Park and other organizations that are helping to strengthen the St. Louis region’s innovation ecosystem. Panelists will include Barry L. Glantz, Mayor of the City of Creve Coeur, Travis Sheridan, President of the CIC Venture Café Global Institute, and Sheila Sweeney, CEO of St. Louis Economic Development Partnership. Among the topics of conversation will be the master plan for the district, which will be geared toward lifestyle preferences often sought by highly-skilled employees. Features of 39 North will include mixed retail, residential and office space connected by walking and biking trails and abundant green space.

The conversation will be moderated by Sam Fiorello, Chief Operating Officer, Danforth Center and President, BRDG Park.

About the Conversations Series:
Members of the Danforth Center Friends Committee organize panel discussions offering guests the opportunity to learn about the work of the Danforth Center and the partners that help to sustain it. Discussions focus on topics of both regional and global urgency and feature leading experts in plant science and related disciplines. Events begin with a networking reception in the McDonnell International Gallery at 5:15 P.M. followed by the program in the AT&T Auditorium from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Reservations are required for this complimentary event. Additional Conversations will be held on August 24 and November 16 of this year.
