    Young Friends is a group of professionals, 40 and under, who support the Danforth Center’s mission to improve the human condition through plant science, including our efforts to enhance St. Louis as a world center for agtech, bioscience, and other industries that are defining the future of our region. Guests have the opportunity to socialize and network with other young professional to learn about the local bioscience ecosystem while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

    The featured speaker for this year’s Seeds of Change event will be Jeff Raikes—former CEO of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, former member of the Microsoft leadership team, and co-founder of the Raikes Foundation. His talk will cover topics including the role of impactful philanthropy, innovative technology, and agriculture in effecting positive change in the world.
